The app · Coming later
A symptom and food diary that doesn't feel like homework.
Many clinicians ask patients with IBS to keep a symptom and food diary for a few weeks. Most people give up after a few days because it is tedious. The TreatIBS app is meant to make that painless: a few taps a day, and your own entries laid out so patterns are easier to spot and easier to bring to an appointment. It is not built yet. This page is what we are aiming at, and a place to leave your email if you want to know when it exists.
Illustrative screens
Mock-ups, not screenshots. Every number, meal and percentage here is made up to show the idea.
What it will track
Symptoms
Bloating, pain and urgency on a 0 to 10 scale, plus how the day felt overall. Under a minute.
Food and drink
What you ate and when, typed or picked from your usual meals. No barcodes, no calorie counts.
Stool
Bristol scale 1 to 7. A photo is optional and never leaves your phone.
Sleep and stress
One tap each. Both show up often enough in diaries that leaving them out would be a gap.
Supplements and routines
What you took or did and when, so a change in symptoms can be lined up against a change in routine.
Patterns
A 14-day view of your own entries: which foods, nights or habits tended to come before worse days.
Waitlist
Hear about it once, when it's real
No launch countdown, no updates. One email on the day the app is available, and that is the end of it. We store your email and nothing else.
The app is not a medical device and does not diagnose anything. A diary is something to bring to a clinician who knows your history, not a replacement for one.
